Our main objective for the Kindergarten years is to help our young students develop their cognitive and motor skills. During these formative years, we give our young learners individual attention as they are introduced to school life in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere. It is important that all children are given the opportunity to experience the best possible start to their education. The Foundation curriculum comprises of seven areas of learning – three prime areas are firstly Communication and LanguagePhysical Development and lastly PersonalSocial and emotional development. Four specific areas are firstly Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the world and lastly Expressive Arts and design.

Kindergarten Age Criteria

Areas of learning are implemented through planned, purposeful play and a mix of child initiated and teacher led learning. All children work towards achieving early learning goals according to their individual characteristics and abilities, their progress is monitored through assessment that is holistic and ongoing.

The overall education experience is enhanced and supplemented with instructions in Dance, Music, Water splash activities in Swimming pool, Art and Craft, Physical Education and Sports activities are woven into the curriculumStudents participate in fun-filled activities, including Games, Story sessions, Field trips, Special weeks, Assemblies and Events.
