Club Installation
Club Activities have been an integral part of the co-curricular aspect of Devin Academy for Learning . The activities under various clubs namely – Charvaka , the Language club, Manthana, the Science & Math Club, the Heritage club, the interact club, the Eco club provide students with immense opportunities to hone as well as exhibit their skills in their fields of interest. As a precursor, a short and sweet celebration of club installation was held in the school premises , where in the in-charge teachers and the student members participated actively in the presence of our beloved Principal ma’am, that gave the much-required impetus to the programme. The programme was colourful and lively with banners and slogans in the backdrop giving a sprightly start to the myriad club activities to be held through-out the academic year 2026-27.
International Yoga Day
Yoga has been a part and parcel of Indian life from time immemorial. Practising Yoga is just not exercising but is a way of living. To spread awareness about this great way of life to our youngsters, The International Yoga Day was celebrated in the school premises of Devin Academy for Learning with lot of enthusiasm aloft. Students and teachers guided by our Yoga teacher, Bhargavi Ma’am, effortlessly performed asanas and postures with great zeal. The essence of the International Yoga day was well assimilated by the participants , rejuvenating the body, mind and the soul of each and every participant.
Frank George Hess Memorial - Literary Competitions
Literary competitions bring out the inherent, latent talent hidden inside the young minds. Composing and reciting poems, declaiming, debating are essential part of learning during student years. Our esteemed school – Devin Academy for Learning has always provided such various and veritable learnings to its students. Creative poem recitation, declamation and debate competitions were held in the school premises where in students from around 15 school participated in each category. Conducive environment and interactive ambience was provided by the school management and under the guidance of our respected Principal ma’am, all the events were successfully conducted and winners were duly awarded. The seamless flow of the events was a testimony to the diligence and passion towards learning in the school.
Investiture Ceremony
Taking up the mantle of responsibility and delivering defines a leader. Investiture ceremony places the onus of maintaining discipline, reaching out to fellow mates, creating opportunities to peer mates, moulding oneself as torch bearers among students. At Devin Academy for Learning, in the presence of the esteemed management, respected Principal ma’am, students of grade 8, 9 and 10 took up the positions of Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Sports and Cultural Heads and many more after be democratically elected by the students of grade 5 to 10 . Student Council members along with the teachers were congratulated for successfully carrying out the programme.
Chief Commissioner Visit
TAEKWANDO : Taekwondo is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts, that teaches more than physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. School offers all our students this systematic martial art form.
TAEKWANDO SILVER AWARDS : Great pride for Devin Academy for Learning as several of its students showcased their skills in the Uttarakhand Taekwondo Competition and emerged victorious with Silver Medals. Their remarkable achievement reflects their Dedication, Hard work, and the Exceptional training they recieved. Congratulations to Anoop Kumar, Paswan of Grade V & Ateesh Kumar Paswan of Grade VI.
Swimming– It is referred to as the perfect exercise.
It not only improves muscle definition and builds core strength, it also builds bone mass and enhances lung performance. We take great pride in our swimming pool which is designed to meet all health and safety guidelines. Qualified staff maintains a high degree of cleanliness and proper water chemistry in our pool at all times. Students are always under the watchful eyes of trained faculties and are strongly discouraged from breaking pool rules to ensure the best swimming experience for everyone. Thanks to our swimming pool, our students have the facility for a holistic workout and a whole lot of fun at the same time. Through swimming we hope to inculcate in our students qualities like self-discipline, a sense of time management, and confidence. Whether beginner or advanced swimmer, all our students have access to the swimming pool for physical education..
Coach / PE Education
The duty of a good sports coach is that to help the students who participate in sports to achieve their complete potential. It is his/her duty to encourage the underperforming students beyond the bounds to raise the quality of their performance.
Club Activities
At Devin Academy for Learning, we offer extensive club activities so as to develop the students’ talents in different areas. All studies show students greatly benefit from being involved in extracurricular activities. They develop several benefits from co scholastic activities. These benefits include time management skills, interest towards different areas, staying fit and active and increase in the level of self esteem. The School recognizes the value of the development of individual students’ talents through participation of such activities. Our clubs are designed to stimulate, excite, and give students a structured but enjoyable way to develop social skills and learn new ideas outside the classroom. From sports teams to Language Club, Mathematics Club, Eco club, Heritage and culture club and Interact Club students work and play together in a way that’s fun, fulfilling.
